Very good price for the watch I was looking for. Unfortunately that is the only positive aspect of the transaction with Luxury Gift. The watch description mentioned a Leather strap. The swiss border patrol have opened the parcel and discovered that it was alligator which is part of the protected species and the importation of such items is strictly regulated and need a CITES certificate to be imported in 90% of occidental countries. Due to that, the parcel has been hold by the border patrol and I've been denounced to the Swiss authorities for illegal importation of protected species articles. I've got a fine of CHF 120.- for that. Following that I contacted Luxury Gift to see what we could do and the only answer I got has been "Sorry but we are not responsible of the different rules and laws in the foreign countries" I had 2 options. First the seller was able to provide a CITES certificate for the alligator strap, what I asked to the seller who confirmed that he wasn't able to provide such certificate. Second, I allowed the border patrol to cut and destroy the alligator strap. I contacted again the seller and explained the situation. He told me that he wanted cancel the order and I had to send back the watch. Unfortunately as the strap had been illegally imported in CH, I was not allowed to re-export as well and I proposed to the seller to accept the strap removal and get the rest (watch and buckle). When I received the watch (after 2 weeks and 20 phone calls to the border patrols, FEDEX and the Swiss authorities) I've got the last (hopefully) bad surprise when I got the invoice from FEDEX, on which there was in addition to all the other costs, an additional amount of CHF 230.- for the borders patrol administrative works. In summary, I paid my watch 40% more than what it was planned. I proposed to the seller to share 50/50 the extra-costs (around CHF 500.-) by taking each one CHF 250.-. Answer received from Luxury Gift: No way, we will not pay anything. I leave you evaluate such behavior which for me is not fair and professional. I remember to you that all tose problems was due to the mistake in the watch description from Luxury Gift. Be careful. Regards.

Hi Roberto, thank you for your review. You have explain exactly how this situation happend but you did not mention about my praposel to you. I have ask Fedex to return this item back to me and we will do full refund but you said no need. I will cover all these expenses. After you paid all this expenses you offer us to cover half of them. This was not agreement and Chrono24 took my side in this case. Thank you for your purchase.

To be honest, I’m not quite satisfied. Because I make an offer who was accepted and who I accept to. Then, as I wait 24h hour before proceeding to the payment they sold it to another person. I do not know if that kind of the procedure is write or wrong, but it was to me more than ordinary. Thank you

I am very sorry for what happen but we sold this watch twice by mistake. Watch was no longer in our stock so i need to cancel before you send us payment. I have explain this to Chrono24. They should send you email.
