The Rolex was advertised as preowned (very good.) After sending my payment I was informed that the dial was refinished and reprinted. Upon receiving the watch, I noticed the crystal has a chip in it that creates a small but noticeable (when up close) shadow on the dial. I like the watch; it is impressive and beautiful. I have no intention of selling it. If I did, I could not say preowned (very good.)

The buyer was indeed correct that the information regarding the dial being refinished and reprinted was inadvertently left out of the description of the watch. This information was conveyed to him after payment and prior to shipment with full disclosure and the offer to undo the deal. HR images were sent showing full details of the dial. The customer insisted on proceeding. We would have been (and still would be) very happy to take care of the issue of the crystal that is bothering the buyer had that been pointed out to us. The customer took the watch to Rolex who examined the watch, and said the only part that was not original was a screw in the bracelet. This was not something that we were aware of, assuming that this is even the case. Let's call a spade a spade.

Thanks for your candor. In the interest of fairness, you placed the order on a Saturday, when we were unable to respond, and on Monday, when the store re-opened we confirmed the order. In this world of instant gratification, I guess that is considered slow. A more reasonable person would have understood the time constraints that did not allow for an immediate response, and would have been satisfied with confirmation that was sent in a timely manner.

Thanks for the feedback and your business. This is the original posting for the watch, which stated in the description that the watch had box only, and the listing clearly stated, "Original Box, No Original Papers". Gents Rolex Submariner in 18k yellow gold, Ref# 16808 circa 1985-86. On the original Oyster bracelet in 18k yellow gold with a flip-lock deployant clasp. Rotating 18k yellow gold bezel with a blue aluminum insert and sapphire crystal. Case diameter is 40mm. Self-winding movement with date. Blue dial with applied framed luminescent hour markers and luminescent filled hands. With a box. Very Good condition.

Communication before the purchase was timely and good. Kindly provided some discount even. Packing of the box was also careful. However the watch delivered was not in the best condition. It is often not accurate and power reserve is less than half of it should be. This watch was manufactured in 2016. This may be because of the rough handling during the shipment or it was like this before the shipment. Luckily they had alliances watch shop in my country and gave me the contact. But it took more than 3 weeks to get the reply from the shop. Of course the late response from this local watch shop is not their fault. Unfortunate trouble but they tried their best to handle it.
